The diagram above shows how a painter may go about painting a 6 panel door. While Painting the panels, it is sometimes best not to get to much paint on the flat surface of the door. That is be cause the paint will begin to set up before you can get the center and perimeter strips done. When you try to paint over set up paint, it will drag making it difficult to get a uniform finish |
